Event starts 9 PM at Aurum Event Centre @ 750 Pacific Blvd. When you arrive, you will enter a large plaza. See photo below to see where the entrance is … although you will not be able to miss the big crowd of kinksters! Please note this is not the same venue as last year, but it is right next to it!

Be part of a fetish takeover of one of the biggest venues in the city – featuring a 30 foot wide stage, extra runway extension, staggering 50 foot wide visuals installation, huge sound system to drive those dirty beats deep into your body, plus all of the immersive extra elements that make VFW such an incredible experience, including … custom built dance cages, BDSM play dungeon with padded benches and large scale rope play structures, kinky carnival games, glamour photo areas and much, much more for everyone to sink their fangs into!

If you can only make one event, it’s the main event tonight! Reminder that FETISH DRESS CODE IS IN EFFECT – a huge part of what makes the events so special is every single person in attendance being part of the party, bringing their own energy and creative and sexual self-expression into the mix! From mild to wild, all flavours and styles are welcome, so long as they pass the fetish dress code … absolutely no plainclothes allowed! While we have staff photographers and photo booths where you can show yourself off, there is otherwise NO PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED anywhere at the event, to create a vibe where everyone is free to get as wild as they like with their outfits, from full coverage, to bare-as-you-dare … just reminder, a g-string minimum must be kept at all times !

Meet & Greet Kickoff Party | July 23

Vancouver Fetish Weekend kicks off next Thursday with a FREE party, to bring together kink scene regulars, kink newbies, VFW guests, performers, models, artists, designers, festival staff and all our local and international fetish friends together for a relaxed night with cold drinks & dark sounds, in a relaxed neighbourhood LGBTQ+ club atmosphere complete with local DJs.

Always been interested in checking out the kink scene, or have friends who have never been before? This is a great casual & fun introduction!

There is NO cover and NO dress code – though dressing up fetish / latex is always appreciated and many people do 😉 All are welcome!

Please note, there is an amazing outdoor back patio but it closes at 10 PM – get there *early* and hang out in the beautiful Vancouver sunshine before the party moves inside!

This party does fill up FAST! If we hit capacity (and we often do!), there may be a lineup and wait to get in. Best to arrive early and not miss any of the great social vibe inside!

For anyone who bought weekend passes online, we will be offering an advance pickup option, so you can have be ready to go and get in quick on the rest of the major weekend events!

The Fetish Walk & Group Photos start at 2 PM at the host hotel Holiday Inn at 1110 Howe, and the Pub Meetup starts at 3 PM at The Junction at 1138 Davie! Read on for more details!

DAYTIME KINK PHOTO & PUB PATIO MEETUP!

Join us at a FREE daytime activity for added fun and social connection during Vancouver Fetish Weekend 2023! Get together with fetish friends for a daytime group photo at a public landmark close to the host hotel, then meet up for cold drinks, brunch and good times on the sunny outside patio deck at The Junction on Davie St! Public appropriate fetish daywear highly encouraged but not required! We will be sending down our videographers and photographers and some of the gathering will be in the official video of VFW2023!

Join us for the Walk at 2, or just meet at the Pub at 3!

The meetup is open to any and all friends who want to participate, whether they are going to Vancouver Fetish Weekend or not! Come hang out!

1:45-2 PM – Meet up at the host hotel at the Holiday Inn at 1110 Howe, where host and tour guide Sly Foxxx will start the Walk at 2 PM.

The Walk is approximately 1.5 hours, but you are never far from the host hotel, if people want to drop off or join at any point!

2 – leave host hotel, walking down Davie Street, towards Roundhouse Skytrain. We will be taking the Skytrain as a big group for one stop!

SKYTRAIN NOTES!!!

You do not need to buy a ticket from the machines! You can just use a credit card to tap pay at the turnstiles on the way in, and then tap again on the way out. This is by far the easiest way. The ride will be around $4. You will need to pay this yourself to take part in the full walk, please be ready for it! Our tour guides will help assist all along the way.

Everyone will take the train just one stop, then exit near the Art Gallery downtown!

2:30 – meet up at the Art Gallery steps, Georgia Street side. Take photos on the steps with the iconic stone lions and hang out for about 15 minutes!

2:45 – leave for another short walk through the heart of the beautiful West End, through a secret green walkway, past the Rainbow crosswalk, towards the Junction Pub at 1138 Davie. There are plenty more photo opportunities on the way!

3-3:15 – arrive at Junction, where we have a big space reserved on their newly expanded outdoor patio. 50+ kinksters expected! Pub meetup host Mistress Mercedes and Junction manager Byron will be there to welcome you! There are big patio umbrellas to hide under if the sun is your enemy, and you can always pop inside to cool off!

Just drop by to say hi, or stay for as long as you like. Davie Street has a great daytime street vibe, right in the heart of the Gay Village, gearing up for Vancouver’s massive Pride celebrations next week.

NOTE – there are LOTS of place to grab food all around this pub, as well as at the pub itself, of course!
